Active Ideas Review

Editorial policy

Active Ideas Review aims to make its explanations clear, fair and useful. We distinguish an established fact from an interpretation or suggestion, and we do not present personal preference as a rule for everyone.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual details against suitable references before publication and take care with dates, terms and attributions. Articles should make their point in plain language, explain the limits of a suggestion and avoid claiming that one creative method works for everyone. When a subject is uncertain or contested, the wording should reflect that.

Independence

Editorial choices are made for their relevance to readers and to the subject of the publication. A partnership does not buy a favourable editorial opinion, and commercial arrangements do not determine what an independent article concludes.

Corrections

If a reader spots a factual error or a passage that could mislead, they can send the details through the Contact page. We review the concern and correct material when warranted. Changes that affect the meaning of an article should be made clear to readers.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid, supplied or otherwise partner-supported material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where they are used, we identify them as AI-generated and do not present them as documentary photographs.
